Massage Therapist and Licensed Acupuncturist
As a licensed massage therapist and acupuncturist, Connie has developed a unique blending of modalities. Combining manual therapy and body energetics, she incorporates OrthoBionomy®, CranioSacral Therapy, Manual Lymph Drainage and Chinese medical philosophy into her practice.
Connie is certified in Shiatsu from the Ohashi Institute and studied CranioSacral Therapy and Somato-Emotional Release from the Upledger Institute.
She received her master’s degree in Classical Chinese Acupuncture at the Swedish Institute, under the guidance of Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th generation Taoist Priest from the Jade Purity School. From these studies she developed a keen interest in the Divergent System, with its strong correlation to the immune and lymphatic systems, and its importance in treating immunological, autoimmune and immune-compromised illnesses.
After Acupuncture School, Connie studied Bruno Chikly’s method of Lymph Drainage Therapy at the Upledger Institute and later the LPC Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Lymphedema Therapy for which she became certified for general therapeutic purposes.
Since 2008, she has pursued continuing education in OrthoBionomy®, a non-invasive osteopathy-based body therapy.
