This seminar series is based on my two years of study in China under one of the country’s top gynecology and infertility specialists, as well as my active gynecology and infertility practice. The goal of these courses is to translate that experience into an easy clarity of the practice of Oriental medical gynecology. You will be able to put what you have learned into practice immediately in the clinic. We will learn through case studies and real life examples. The use of the 8 Extraordinary Meridians will be discussed in the context of acupuncture treatment protocols. Attention will be paid to Western anatomy, physiology and pathology.
Equal time will be spent on the use of acupuncture and herbal medicine. We will discuss both the customization of herbal formulas for experienced herbalists and the use of patent medicine for acupuncturists who want to use herbal medicine but do not have a background in herbology.
