Adele Reising Acupuncture has cared for New Yorkers since its founding in 1999. Adele’s clinical and professional experience includes hospital residencies in Beijing and Busan, years of practice in New York, and leadership of the Herbal Medicine department at Pacific College of Health and Science. Today, the full team of practitioners brings a combined 75 years of knowledge and clinical experience to each patient, together with the attentive, individualized care that has defined the practice from the beginning.

If you’re new to acupuncture and Chinese medicine, we strive to demystify the process, explain what to expect, and orient you towards the best protocols to achieve your health and wellness goals.

Intake

We talk

Your history, medications, sleep, digestion, cycle, stress. Chinese medicine considers the whole person when treating an individual condition. The more we learn, the better the outcome.

Treatment

You rest

Fine single-use Japanese needles, points chosen based on your condition and needs. Cupping, moxibustion or bodywork as indicated.

Timing and duration depend on treatment modality and the condition being treated. We will discuss your options with you fully, and answer any questions you have.

L.Ac. — Founder, acupuncturist, herbalist

Master's from Pacific College, where she chaired herbal medicine. Hospital residencies in Beijing in gynecology, infertility, sports medicine and pain.

Tammy Day

L.Ac., LMT — Acupuncturist and massage therapist

Graduate of the Swedish Institute acupuncture program, trained in both TCM and classical Chinese medicine. A student of Jeffrey Yuen, 88th-generation Taoist priest of the Jade Purity School.

Connie Repplier

L.Ac., LMT — Acupuncturist and massage therapist

Master's in classical Chinese acupuncture from the Swedish Institute, also under Jeffrey Yuen. Certified in Shiatsu, with craniosacral therapy and manual lymph drainage, and a focus on immune and lymphatic conditions.
