Facial rejuvenation is becoming a popular non-surgical way of maintaining facial health and radiance, as well as reducing signs of aging. We are now happy to offer this treatment, and hope that you will enjoy its many benefits.
What is Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture?
Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is a spa-like treatment that includes facial acupuncture as well as the application of pampering herbal masks and facial massage. In addition, the patient’s overall health is assessed, and a full body acupuncture treatment is performed in order to address the underlying imbalances that contribute to aging and skin imperfections. Since we now know that beauty is not simply skin-deep, and is a reflection of many aspects of health, we can also recommend dietary modifications as well as lifestyle changes to create an inside-out program for health and beauty.
We use Muse L’Herbal herbal products, created by Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, which are organic, natural, free of preservatives, and never tested on animals. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is offered as a single treatment or a six-session course. Two courses of treatment are usually recommended, however results vary depending on individual health, age, and other factors.
What are the Benefits?
The benefits of facial rejuvenation acupuncture are many, and include an increased flow of blood and nutrients to the face. This promotes the production of collagen and elastin, improving skin elasticity and muscle tone and reducing the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. After a course of facial rejuvenation acupuncture skin begins to look smoother and more radiant. On a deeper level, the treatment addresses physical, mental and emotional health that underlies the aging process. Treatments also reduce stress and promote general health and well-being.
