What this site collects
Almost nothing. There are no accounts and no forms here that send anything to us. You can read every page without giving us your name.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, page requested, time, browser — for security and operations. We do not use them to identify anyone.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and whether they go on to book. It sets cookies, assigns your browser an identifier, and receives your IP address and the pages you view.
We have narrowed it:
- On treatment and condition pages we do not send which page you read, only that it was one.
- No analytics runs on the insurance verification page.
- Google Signals and all advertising features are off. We do not advertise, build audiences, or share this data with Google for its own products.
- Query strings are stripped, and retention is set to 14 months.
You can block it in your browser, or use Google’s opt-out add-on.
The insurance form
The form on our insurance page is operated by HIPAAtizer, which handles protected health information under a business associate agreement with us. What you type goes to them directly and is never stored on this site. We use it only to check your benefits and tell you what we find.
Booking
Booking links take you to Unified Practice, our scheduling system. What you enter there is governed by their terms rather than this policy.
Maps
Our contact page carries a Google map. Loading it gives Google your IP address and may set cookies. The address is written out on the same page if you would rather look it up elsewhere.
Email and telephone
We keep what you write or say, so that we can reply and so that we have a record. Our email is covered by a business associate agreement with Google, so you are welcome to write to us about clinical matters as well as practical ones.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information.
- We carry no advertising trackers.
- We host our own typefaces, so no request goes to a font service.
- We embed no social widgets or share buttons.
Your rights
You may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to us and we will do what we can. Requests about your medical records are covered by the Notice of Privacy Practices instead.
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information about children under 13.
If we change how the site works we will change this policy and update the date above.
